In spite of the single most dramatic pre-elevation in history, I actually received my Laurel this last Saturday night at Great Western War. I am now — wait for it — Mistress Caitlin Christiana Wintour. Forgive my writing excitement; that’s the 3rd time I actually wrote the new title down. The first time was signing someone else’s vigil book directly after my elevation. I was so thrilled at writing “Mistress” that I promptly misspelled my own first name. Good one! Yes, I am too cool. *rolls eyes at self*

I have thank-you notes to write, but in the meantime let me just say that so many people gave of themselves to help this happen for me. I will do my level best to be worthy of the honor. Promise!
